Description
Our other permenant IPA (5.0%) from Acorn brewery in Barnsley.

Every month the IPA will show case a different American hop, and currently it is Citra IPA- 5% ABV. Number 7 in Acorn's series of American IPAs.

CITRA IPA ABV 5%
Rich golden coloured ale. Citrus, pineapple and mango
flavours combine to create a tropical fruit flavour

Beware of IPA imposters and come down and try a true strength, well hopped IPA such as this very tasty Citra IPA!

Acorn Brewery

Acorn's distinctive beers are brewed with only the finest malts and hops and they also use the same yeast strains as the original Barnsley Brewery, founded in the 1850's. With their wealth of experience, their dedicated team produce a core range of ales which they add to with monthly specials, seasonal beers and occasional ales.

Acorn's ales consistantly rank amongst our favourate ales here at the Devonshire Cat and are definately worth a try.  

This beer pairs well with spicy foods and indian cuisine. It also pairs well with sharp or nutty cheeses and shellfish.  This is a great beer to have with our fabulous homemeade beer battered fish and chips as the bitterness from the beer is excellent at cutting through the oil and batter flavours associated with this dish.
