Description 5.6% This is a classic style brown ale with an american twist, incorporating firm hop characteristics and a roasted palate.  A blend of six malts (some roasted) gives this beer its deep russet brown colour and its complex malt flavours, fruity, smooth and rich, with a caramel, chocolate and coffee background. This is an award winning brown ale was first created as a holiday specialty but soon became part of Brooklyn Brewery's permanent beers due to its huge popularity stateside. Rich mouthfeel with a smooth up-front caramel sweetness, changing into a defined crisp dryness  that shadows the hop bitterness. This beer goes nutty in the middle and gradually finishes stronger. A nice modern day American Brown Ale. On the dry side, but packed with a fullness of flavours. Pairs well with barbequed food, burgers, steaks and stews.
