Brugge Tripel

Brugge Tripel
Price: £5.05
Description
Fluffy sweet blonde ale actually brewed in Bruges, 8.2%abv.

Brugge Tripel is part of The Palm Brewery portfolio.  The beer began in 1987 under the name Bruges Tripel brewed by Brewery De Gouden Boom in Bruges. Since acquiring the brewery, Palm Breweries renamed the beer Brugge Tripel.

"Brugge Tripel is the unsurpassed city beer of the people of Bruges. This beer has a well-rounded malt character, an aromatic hop character and a great complexity of flavours. The taste truly evoques the very best of Bruges!"

Brugge Tripel is very dry, very light, with champagne qualities to it. Carbonation is pretty high and serves to make this palate cleansing and refreshing. Apple notes in the flavour, grape flavors (a la champagne), some delicate bubblegum volatiles in the nose and on the palate.
8.2%abv.

Note the decorative bottle that shows a painting of Bruges, instantly recognisable for its still preserved medieval canal lined streets.

This beer pairs well with sharp or pungent cheeses, as well as pork or poultry dishes.

33cl bottle.
