Description
Brugse Zot 33cl 6% - Da Halve Maan Brewery

Brugse Zot is a golden blond beer with a rich froth and a fruity flavouring. The beer is brewed with four different kinds of malt and two aromatic varieties of hop which give the beer its unique taste. 6 % in abv this is a well balanced, easy drinking beer with character.

Brugse Zot is a natural beer born out of a selection of only the best ingredients. Thanks to the refermentation in the bottle, the beer has a longer natural life. There are hints of gentle spices and pear in the aroma. The flavour begins with a
light yeast taste and a hint of spice. The flavour then moves on to a sharp pear flavour with hints of granny apple sweetness. The finish is of pale malts and a hint of corriander. This beer is medium in both body and carbonation.

Brugse Zot was launched in 2005 after Xavier Vanneste resnovated and restarted the old brewery that his family have owned since 1856.  Brugse Zot is the only beer to be brewed in Bruges' town centre.

The name Brugse Zot - comes from the locals nickname of 'Brugse Zotten' or Bruges Fools.

This beer pairs well wth tangy cheeses and fish dishes.
