This beer was made famous by beer writer Michael Jackson on his Beer Hunter Tour of the Ceylon Brewery, every brewery in Sri Lanka makes a stout.
This stout is a sweet unfiltered heavy dessert of a beer. It has coffee like attributes like a mocha, despite its origins in the middle of a tea plantation. Dark treacle like beer with plum like fruit qualities, all in all a complex heavyweight beer.
