Description The darkest of the four bottled beers from the Dutch town of Koningshoeven, 6.5%. Classic dubbel style beer, dark and fruity with a chocolate sweetness, uses candy sugar to create the creamy sweet finish. Coriander presence notable. 33cl bottle. Not very aromatic but the smell is sweet and malty. Like the smell, there is malty sweetness in the taste with hints of caramel and toffee. There are some notes of dark fruits and other spices in the aftertaste. Overall, the taste is not overly complex. Medium body taste with a smooth flavour due to the carbonation.
