Description Morte Subite Gueuze 4.5% This is a clear Gueuze, orange-gold in colour, from the Alken-Maes subsidiary. Powerful fruit, mostly banana, in the nose leads to a complex but quite sweet palate, dominated by citrus notes at the start, with hints of banana. This rapidly becomes very grapey, strongly reminiscent of a white wine. There is a burnt, ashy flavour towards the finish, which is short, sweet, full of vanilla and slightly cloying.
